This spring, Granlund’s PlanG+ strategy has been discussed with all personnel in Sweden as part of a strategy roadshow. Company management visited Lidköping, Umeå and Stockholm, engaging with local teams and discussing future direction together. Granlund’s Swedish operations include five companies specialising in design, construction management and project management.

The roadshow focused on Granlund’s PlanG+ strategy, as well as collaboration and continuous development. “It was great to meet our Swedish colleagues and discuss together how we will continue to move Granlund forward in the Swedish market,” says Timo Palonkoski, Director responsible for international business and acquisitions.

Granlund has operated in Sweden since 2020 and currently employs more than 100 experts. “We have an excellent team in Sweden with broad expertise across different fields. These shared meetings are important so that we can continue building the Granlund culture and strengthen collaboration together,” says CEO Pekka Metsi.

Strategy Days brought stakeholders together

Granlund Sweden’s Strategy Days were held at Bergendal, just outside Stockholm. This year’s agenda focused on business development and growth opportunities in Sweden.

The event brought together shareholders from all Swedish companies to discuss shared goals and how to achieve them.

Granlund operates in Sweden through five companies in six cities: Umeå, Örnsköldsvik, Stockholm, Lidköping, Gothenburg and Malmö. The goal is to continue growing both geographically and by strengthening core business areas: MEP and structural engineering, project management and data centre design.
