18.9.2026 – Granlund Sweden AB in Lidköping has strengthened its team with five new professionals with expertise in industrial projects. With these new hires, the company is establishing industrial services as a business area of its own in a newly formed subsidiary.

In September, Granlund Sweden AB established a new business area as its team expanded. The five new employees are electrical engineers with extensive experience in industrial projects, combining technical expertise with project management. Together, they are building up the industrial services business area.

“We are on a growth journey and have seen a clear increase in demand within industry. That is why we have chosen to form a subsidiary and establish industrial services as a business area of its own, alongside our data center operations. We now have the expertise in place to meet that need,” says Marcus Karlsson, CEO of Granlund Sweden AB.

Driving Granlund’s growth

The initiative is in line with Granlund’s strategy for continued growth, in which Sweden is a key market. The new business area broadens the portfolio and opens the door to new customers in the Swedish market.

“With industrial services as a business area, we can reach new customers and new types of projects. At the same time, the expertise will also benefit our existing projects,” says Karlsson.

More disciplines ahead

The business area is already up and running. Over time, the ambition is to complement the electrical expertise with additional disciplines, enabling the business area to offer broader support to industrial clients.
