Sustainability 2025
Sustainability is reflected in Granlund’s business and its development, customer projects, internal operating methods and Granlund’s broader role as a trendsetter in the sustainability of the real estate and construction sector. Sustainability is one of Granlund’s strategic goals. Sustainability work is guided by the sustainability programme, the objectives and measures of which are promoted in several strategy projects.
We will publish a comprehensive and separate sustainability report in March 2026
In the sustainability report, we will discuss the full extent of our sustainability efforts in terms of our business activities and our work with customers. The report will also include a sustainability review in accordance with the VSME framework. You can download Granlund’s sustainability report on this page when it is published.
This is how we create sustainable business
In Granlund’s Plan G+ strategy, sustainability is identified as key to both our own operations and business.
In connection with the 2025 Plan G+ strategy update, a sustainability strategy was created and sustainability targets and actions were set for each business area. During the strategy period 2025–2029, sustainability-related business is expected to double from the level of 2024.
The sustainability programme updated in 2025 takes into account Granlund’s environmental, social and governance impacts. Underlying the update of the sustainability programme was also preparing for voluntary sustainability reporting.
Key targets of Granlund’s sustainability efforts

As a company, Granlund operates sustainably. The most important sustainability targets are related to:
- reducing Granlund’s own emissions (environmental sustainability)
- looking after Granlund’s own employees and their well-being (social sustainability)
- good business conduct (governance)
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved Granlund’s emission reduction targets in March 2025
